Most of our videos are done here at Sand Hollow, I’m Southern Utah, about 30 minutes from Zion National Park and 2 hours from Las Vegas.

The area is quickly becoming an offroad hub, any gaining a lot of exposure with several popular YouTube channels like Matt’s Offroad Recovery, Litebrite, and others showcasing it - along with the big events that have been happening each year - Trail Hero, UTV Takeover, 4x4 Jamboree, SXS Adventure Rally, and others. It has it all - sand dunes, scenic trails, rock crawling, and hardpack/desert riding.

I have a Pro 4 Ultimate, and we all know how they run. That said, if your crawling in Moab or doing trails in the mountains there’s nothing wrong with the KRX and its power. Desert and dunes you might be underwhelmed, but there’s also a massive price difference between the KRX and my Ultimate. And that’s before I started throwing thousands in upgrades at my R. The best machine is the one you can afford and gets you out with friends and family.

Yea, the first thing I bought for my Krx were 35 Zillas, the second was the dynojet tuner. The full power reverse has been great and the increased rev limits make a lot of difference. The car runs cooler also.

A 17 second 0-60 is pretty hilarious. The machine is built for what you guys do. Nothing wrong with that

I’ve got a 2020 2 seat KRX, just installed a Trinity Full Exhaust, have a PV3 w/ both a Trinity and an Aftermarket Assassins tune. After my last Clutch repair Kawasaki used the 2023 weights. I’m thinking about JBS weights are making my own. Byway, going out to test for first time today.

For this test to be accurate, you need to be on the same road section in the same direction. Because if you re slightly uphill on a test, and downhill on the next test, it can do a huge difference on a low horse power car like that...

Just to be clear- the Chupacabra mirrors are not slowing the KRX down any meaningful amount with wind drag…. Just so there’s no confusion 😂

I'm right with you Eric. I had a Maverick sport a couple years ago and I got the Dyno jet tuner same as you used with their tune and it made a night and a difference on the machine. I loved it. I would definitely have done the same thing on my KRX as well.

Everyone worries about speed. I have a RZR 1000 XP4 with 32” tires. Love it for trail riding

Pull the clutch cover off and GoPro the belt. Riding this winter in the snow with my Pro XP I got to a big open field and was ripping at around 30-40 on the speedo just drifting. My machine is mostly stock on 32's. In low I was against the low range speed limiter at 35ish on the speedo, and I ran like 150*f belt temp. Shifted to high and ripped some more for like 5-10 minutes and was getting the belt up to 250*f before I quit. About 12-14" snow and drifting o couldn't quite get the speedo above 38mph or so. After loading up and going home I checked the clutches out and belt after getting it that hot and found the bottom sheive of the primary had so black rubber. So I am guessing in the Pro XP it doesn't hardly start moving the clutches till 35ish. So initial hit 0-20 I'm sure on the KRX is getting the RPMs up then after 20 somewhere the belt shifts. Be cool video to help set clutching and understand it better. Also a GoPro on the dash to compare timing to speed etc.

Long winded sorry.

I'm an East Coast rider. I have an X3 120HP model, my buddies with more power pull on me on straights, and then I catch them at the corners every time.

That's a crazy difference for a tune on a na car . I went with a dyno jet on my turbo s, the car drives very nice plus it's a good diagnostic tool . I initially sent my ecu to alba and it was absolute trash and drove like shit

Our KRX 2 seater has a PV3 with the trinity tune. We also have RCOR clutch weights. Running 35s You should try 0 additional weights for your crawling, and of course adding weight will increase your mid to top range. You should have the 1, 2 and 4 gram weights in the kit. Now the fun is finding a area that's less dusty and experimenting to your driving style and feel. Love your channel and hopefully if we make the trip from Michigan to Sand Hollow this year we'll see you on the trails

Id rethink the front harness shoulder belt mounting. That angle is way too steep coming out the back of the seat.
You dont want to compress your spine if there ever comes that time that you need them and they end up doing more harm than good.

Did the PV3 tune require different fuel? And /or were you using 89 octane pump gas previously? (I believe 89 is the factory spec, correct me if I’m wrong)
