Now we just wait for Capcom to decide to make Mega Man 12 and have a robot master that forces MegaPhilX to do a name change. :)

When Capcom fails to acknowledge Mega Man's anniversary it does the heart good to see the fans step up yet again.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I have a lot of issues with the sprite work here:
0:29 While I really like the idea of this new Met enemy, the lack of any shading on the leaves make it look very incomplete. Even if you didn't want to add a darker green to add more detail, adding a bit of white shine onto the leaves would've gone a long way towards making it look less flat. As it is now it just make it stand out, which is ironically NOT what you'd want with an enemy like this

0:34 While the rocky floors are very detailed and make great use of shading (though I'd personally add one darker orange color for extra shading), the grey metal floors and background walls look incredibly flat, with the background details (such as the solar panel) using more faded, pastel colors and having a more intricate shading making them stand out even more. While I'm talking about this solar panel, is it just me, or does the lowermost shine effect (the dark one) not match the angle of the other shines? It looks as though it sort of changes angles partway towards the bottom, though that could just be a trick of the video's width

0:37 This mantis enemy is a cool idea, but because the mantis and the flower it's in are the same color and use the same kind of flat shading as the rest of its body, it's incredibly hard to make out what it's supposed to be at a glance. It all just blends together into an indiscernible pink blob, which is a problem when you need to read and enemy's tell for their attack. Granted, the big meaty claws jutting out do a decent enough job of making the enemy readable, but only barely

1:55 I assume that the whole deal with Steam Man's stage looking so faded is to emphasize the steaminess of his stage, but given that none of the sprites seem to follow this style of coloring it just looks out of place. I'm also not much of a fan of the dithering used for the steam, but that's more of a preference thing and not an actually substantive criticism

And one last thing, I really don't like what you've with Mega Man's sprites. Part of the appeal of Mega Man's sprites is that he's both very simple yet has just the right amount of detail to avoid looking too jarring. By contrast, your version of his sprites are hard to make out even when up close and it makes his design look much too cluttered for its own good. It's really unfitting for Mega Man if you ask me, and I really hope the final game has an option to use the normal sprites instead

I know this comment has been pretty long and possibly a bit scathing, but I don't do it because I don't like your games, quite the contrary. I really like the first MMU game and I'm certain this will also be just as fun, plus everything else outside of the graphics looks to be very promising. Also, don't think I'm saying your art in general is bad, it's not. The boss art used on the Stage Select screen looks very good and really fits with the kind of shading you chose for it, and the animated mugshots add a lot of personality to the characters

It's just that a lot of the main sprites you see most often in the game aren't to that same level of quality, as if there was a clear distinction made between the sprites you liked making and the ones you didn't, and that just really annoys me as someone so passionate for Mega Man and pixel art in general

This might be really nitpicky, but I feel like Mantis Man should be renamed to Mantis Woman. After all, it's the female mantises that are larger, more powerful, and more dominant than the males. The sprite already looks feminine so only the name would need changing. Anyways, that's my two cents. Everything else looks awesome!

There better be a Prototype X as a hidden playable character like the first unlimited where you play Prototype Zero
