HOW I SAVED P10 000 IN UNIVERSITY

Hey my loves!

In the spirit of this being the first month of this new year, I thought I would share with you all how the girl saved a whole entire P10,000 in 3 years!!! I hope you all consider starting to save after watching this because it is so so so important to do so!

Flexi Fixed deposit account details
1. Two withdrawals within your specified term
2. Three maturity terms (3, 6 or 12 months). What this means in simple terms is that the bank repays/ reinvests the amount you accumulated within the term, then adds interest.
3months you gain - 1.50% interest
6months you gain - 2.75%interest
12months you gain - 3.40% interest

I would recommend FNB to anyone. I like the convenience of it all.

I was able to save R43000 in my undergrad. From beginning of 2016 to end of 2018. I had committed to transfer R1000 per month but I would increase the transfer whenever I had residual. In the three years the interest was compounded (2, 5% minimum).

When I went for my postgraduate studies, I left it there and continued to honor the commitment. I am working now, I still haven’t touched it 😂 and my monthly deposit is greater now and so are the interest rates.

I watched this before my 1st year, I've always had a savings account which i put in my pocket money, like each and every cent i had. That was before tertiary, it was very easy because my parents were still taking care of my expenses, hair, toiletries, clothes, airtime etc...
I knew i had to save but i didn't know how to spend💀so i would transfer money to savings then later in the month i would withdraw "my money".
Last semester i managed to get my budget on track, closed future savings account, opened flexi fixed savings.

Every year on January I get a container and I put R5 coins in it through out the year, its always so surprising how much money it is at the end of the year... After watching this video I'm switching things up, going to ABSA to fix my app tomorrow... This year I'm saving more🙏🏾
