In this video, I go over how to get a pit bull puppy to stop biting! Puppies are known for mouthing and biting fingers and hands and chewing up objects around the house. This is normal for puppies because they are teething and looking for a way to ease the pain. If the puppies are still nipping when they get older, I show a method on how to stop biting when they are older. Stay calm keep dog training and stay consistent!

Step 2 is my saving grace. I have a 8 week old tri mix bully and I tried the toy method but he would immediately go back to biting my toes or feet. I put my thumb in his mouth and put pressure! He didn’t like it lol. He has stop nipping less so I know this really works. Thank you!

Anybody dealing with little ones please listen to that step 2 it goes a long way in your dogs life. I’m teaching my new puppy training everyday because I feel like my older dog has a little bit of passive fear from a puppy because I used to yell.. so main thing for us is to keep a stern voice and say what you mean and mean what you say. Good luck to all the pittie owners out there!

I have two 9 week old AMPT's, and the 'lightly pinching the jaw' trick worked. Thanks a lot and would recommend this!

I know this is a old video..but you comforted me with raising our new puppy..he was taken away from his momma way too soon sadly and we had nothing to do with that choice..he is very much chewing but we have been doing everything you mentioned to help him be a great dog. I had two pits before and they were my amazing babies..cant wait to see how he grows up

My puppy is getting aggressive. Mostly in the evening. He was only with his mom for 2 weeks. He was bottle fed. Great stuff!

Thank you for the tips! I'm a first-time pit pull( WooWoo Fancy) owner. You are the 1st video that popped up. So I'm going to stick to your advice and raise myself a obedient, loyal, and best friend! Thank you!

We just tried the tip with feeding him with the three fingers and it worked. We were a bit scared at first but he surprisingly was so gentle!! Tysm!!!😊

I always called the thumb trick, dog bass, cause it’s like holding up a bass after you catch it. I thought that was an unusual thing so I’m glad I’m not alone in doing that. We just got a pitbull mastiff mix. Happy I found this video!

I have a 4 month old pitbull and he bites very hard. Unfortunately my brother gave him to me at 5 weeks. I told him it was too early. He didn't learn bite inhibition. So I'm definitely gonna try your techniques. Thank you.

Your method is on point. I hand play with them early on and press their toung a little...they immediately open their mouth
