“Hermit scroll” and “Hidden cloud” instantly made me think of Hell’s Paradise and Naruto which also happen to be two anime with ninjutsu as well

Togashi-san is working on HxH again and by the looks of his Twitter he's plowing through inking chapters. So happy for his health, I don't care if he every finishes, just that he continues to be alive and pursue his dream of telling this story when so many manga-ka have died and no longer can.

Togashi's world building is master class. The story changes protagonists every few arcs and the world never stops being boring.

Hopefully he will continue the current pace.

I recall that scene in the anime where Killua draws a power scale in the sand. Points out that Hanzo was almost as strong as Illumi and Hisoka, and there was a massive gap between those 3 and everyone else. So unless Togashi forgot those details, I think we’re yet to see the full extent of his abilities

I vaguely recall Yu Yu Hakusho also having a bald shinobi that fought the protagonist(Yusuke) near the end of a tournament arc. Anybody remember Kazemaru?
