One note for people, when you're looking for your 7th character, make sure you look at the ENTIRE section first. I was going to ask about question one, because I couldn't find the 7th character B under 42.302 for the unspecified fracture of shaft of humerus, left arm. I was looking at the 7th character boxes on the page I was on. Then I realized that they were all for closed fractures only, so I turned back one page, and at the top, where the 42.- begins, that's where I found the correct 7th character. So, don't be a goof like I am; make sure you look at the whole section if you're new to coding. :D Also, thank you for this video! It's going to help me greatly when I take my CPC. Since I only get one attempt, any strategy that helps me pass it is much appreciated!

Thank you so much. I failed the CPC exam twice this year because I was attacking the case descriptions with a lot of info completely the wrong way. I always ran out of time because panic would set in every time I got to a question with too much to read. After watching this, now I know what I was doing wrong. I was focusing too much on the excessive details and not grouping the similar codes together first. You explained this so well. I just have to practice this method so I can hopefully pass on my third try when I'm ready.
