Ya, we need to grow more food, have more greenhouses, have more irrigation & have less babies. We also need to increase immigration to move people TO food instead of only exporting/donating food

Half truth. It's a equitable food distribution problem, that stems from food being decoupled from the perceived value denominated in price.

Simply put, money doesn't represent the price of food accurately anymore (if ever).

How can a burger that has traveled over 10K miles, cost only .99 cents?! Answer...it doesn't.

Why are food crops being used as feed stocks for bio-fuels!? Not only is the choice of food or fuel a acceptable choice but it is irrational as far as I can see since bio-fuels made from algae cultures makes far more sense. Sure it needs more work but we would all be better off with such scientific development then taking up valuable land and resources to make bio-fuels that will not be sustainable anyway.
