Drawing Trees from Imagination

It can be very handy to draw trees from imagination - they are a great 'extra' to put into many scenes, but there are some challenges not drawing from a reference. This demo will step through a very effective process. The five steps are outlined at the end, so don't miss it.

Great. This taught me a lot on how to do the canopies at the FAR side of the tree, and to darken those areas leaving the finer / smaller branches in ‘negative’ to give the effect of depth. I shall be practicing this technique so much more after this video. Previously my trees seemed om one-plane only, and lacked the 3D effect. SO HELPFUL again Stephen. Beautifully explained as usual.
