Valencia arguably the best quality of Life in the world with outstanding value for money, Murcia where I live, the big advantage over almeria is the low crime rate and much better airport (plus Alicante airport is just over an hour from the Murcia coast and only 40 minutes from Murcia city), with over 20 years experience in Spain I think this video is very accurate, (even benalMADena, accent on the A Giorgio) your analysis here spot on

Thanks, Giorgio! I agree with you that buying property as an investment in Spain is probably not the right thing. The rental taxes are huge for non-EU citizens. Also the initial transaction costs are very significant, where you can easily add +15% on top of the agreed price in transaction costs! I'm considering buying in Sofia, Bulgaria. However, the property prices seem to have increased a lot there to the point of a possible bubble. Would you still recommend buying in Sofia as an investment?

Cities in the north are also Coastal cities. Summer is too hot in the south, even these coastal cities, not good to live.
