The World Bank (WB) and International Finance Corporation's flagship report Ease of Doing Business Index 2020 ranked Pakistan 108 among 190 countries around the globe, indicating a continuous improvement and taking a jump from 136 last year. The top five countries were New Zealand, Singapore, Denmark, Hong Kong and South Korea

As per 2018, Provincial share in total Tax Collection in Pakistan are Punjab 48%, Sindh 27%, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 17%, Balochistan 8%.

This shows that Pakistani Punjab used to be ahead of every Indian province until late 90s. Our GDP per capital was higher than India up until early 2000s. We have fucked up big time in last 20 years. Extremely glad to see India doing well. Rivals but not enemies. Hopefully Pakistan can learn from India and regain past level :)

In the next 5 years India will have 5 states that will each have an economy equivalent to that of the entire Pakistan, and one of the states will have a GDP, 2 times that of Pakistan. Even some other states will also catch up with Pakistan.
