Logistic Regression could be used in sentiment analysis and data mining. Many methods fit here such as gradient boosting, binary classifier, and many more. Unlike the aforementioned algorithms, thanks to logit regression, we are able to assign probabilities per prediction, hence reporting our confidence while we predict, allowing for more flexibility and better interpretation.
