The ONLY time something like this happened was when I found my brother's collection while we were moving... ALL OF THE CARDS WERE SOAKED... R.I.P and they were some good hits from diamond/pearl/platinum sets... Never again.
This is why I WILL ALWAYS double sleeve my cards and keep them in places where water can't get to.

It makes me so sad to see that people do this even if the cards do belong to them. Some people destroy such beautiful valuable cards that people have tried so hard to pull. 😢
