2024 ECGI Summit: Carbon Emissions Allowance Markets

ECGI, as part of a multi-year project on Responsible Capitalism, organized the 2024 ECGI Responsible Capitalism Summit, hosted by the French Embassy in Berlin on 10 September 2024.

Dirk Schoenmaker (Erasmus University Rotterdam) moderated the second-panel presentation of the summit, "CARBON EMISSIONS ALLOWANCE MARKETS (VOLUNTARY AND REGULATED)".

Estelle Cantillon (Université libre de Bruxelles) presented her paper, "Market Design for the Environment."

Zachery Halem (Director, Lazard Climate Center) presented his paper, "The Evolving Role of Greenhouse Gas Emission Offsets in Combating Climate Change".
