Prayers are pouring in today for the legendary Aretha Franklin, who is said to be "gravely ill." Mariah Carey posted an old black-and-white glamor shot, writing: "Praying for the queen of soul." "My love, prayers and warm thoughts are with Aretha Franklin," Paula Abdul said. Franklin's family friend, anchor Evrod Cassimy of WDIV-TV in Detroit, tweeted: “Just got a chance to speak to Aretha Franklin. She is resting and surrounded by close friends and family.
