I watched this video recently and based on this I bought such a display. Later I have seen that the Nextion Plug in is depreciated. This is not your fault. I missed this. It was very difficult to bring the Nextion display to life. Uploading to the device worked from the beginning. No problem with this. But there was no communication between Simhub and the Display. After a lot of searching I found the solution. I had to change the baud rate to 115200 instead of 9600 (seems to be the default). Before uploading I had to change the settings of the program in the Nextion Editor to 115200. An in the debug mode I had to send a command bauds=115200 to the device. Then it worked. Just if somebody else has the same issue. Works great although depreciated.

Great tutorial, I bought the 4.3 nextion screen, I open nextion editor and when I upload my dashboard I just see 1 page and if I touch the screen nothing happen. Any suggestions to what to do? Thanks a lot

Thank you, you are very kind and helpful, I looked on race department but there are for the 4.3 "and 3.2" display.
I see little or nothing for 3.5, most of the downloads have been removed.

when it came to uploading the dashes- mine just hangs out- tried using SD cards- and then it says its in the wrong format- when it s in fat32. got issues!

Nice tutorial. One question can we change the idle wallpaper to something else? Like our own logo for example. If so where can we change it?

I watched your video and see you have the same issue. I recognize if you are shifting, the nextion display shows allways an N between the gears. Are there any idears to eliminat this? Is this specific to ACC?

Hi I got a nextion 3.5 for space reasons but I saw that in the nextion editor in the template folder there are only two car models, it would be of great help to be able to find them, I normally use ACC with ferrari 488 you can help me with this.
