Completing A Modest Test of Strength Trial in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Nintendo Switch.
Used Knight's Broadsword primarily, 26 damage.

I found modest test of strength too hard so I went to the shrine off the cliff first to find out it’s the MAJOR TEST OF STRENGTH

For some reason I thought we weren’t allowed to leave the shrines before completing them (I didn’t bother trying) so I ended up actually defeating this one with 3 hearts, original stamina, a boko shield, and an axe. My hands had never been sweatier. Never again.

bruh, I love how the game calls this "modest" for me, i had like 6 or 7 hearts and i still died like crazy when he slashed me whit the sword lol

Ohhhh so my problem was staying too far away. This was very helpful.

Also a tip: When he turns his weapon too attack that’s when you try to parry. Don’t do it too soon. Do it after he turns it.

Another tip: save a decent damage weapon for the end. It also has to attack fast. If you don’t he’ll kill you. You can’t run away when he starts shooting those red lasers.

goodness you managed to beat it with 4 hearts, while I die within 30 seconds with 7 plus 4 boosted hearts...

HUGE TIP on this one: Use shock arrows to paralyze him and then hit him. Once he shrinks down and fires lasers hit him with arrows too

Got stuck in here with no arrows and I managed to get it down to the last couple hits but that red lazer thing kills me every time

I just bought the game for the first time. I hadn't played on a console game since the 90's on the SNES (Super Nintendo). I ventured into this before I even had the Sheika Slate fixed. So I had really crappy gear. I had cloth clothing and all my metal weapons were broken. I only had a Boca club which does 4 damage, very basic. I knew that wasn't going to work. So I had to use the bomb rune to win. It took me 30 minutes to figure out how to beat him, because none of the melee weapons worked. I didn't think the bombs were doing any damage, but it was the only thing available to me after all those other items were destroyed. I noticed a tiny sliver of the robot's life being lost after bombing it for 10 minutes straight. So in total, it took me close to 1 hour and 30 minutes to kill it with bombs, not making any mistakes versus his firebomb, laser sword tornado charge, laser spin and laser pulses. Near the end of the robot's life, I was so mentally drained I had to force myself to focus and still not make any mistakes. My thumbs were sweaty. I had trouble properly pressing the move button on the controller consequently. It was hard as hell. I thought the line, "A modest test of strength" was the game creators being assholes putting me through practicing using bombs and throwing bombs. It felt like a 1.5 hour training level.

This guy takes him out like a pro. I didn't even notice the wind created from the robot spinning where the player uses his paraglider. I mean that doesn't even make sense. It's like a saucer spinning, it shouldn't be creating wind at all.

I only survived because fairies made sure I wouldn't die. But bruh, this one was brutal as it was still early game for me. Had to restart so many times.

Dam you definitely have better weapons and armor than me for this challenge. How long did you wait before starting this challenge?

I’m so happy my husband just did this for me and we had 3 hearts and basic weapons. 🤣 I make a lot of food and elixrs in the game and hit the “+” quick to heal and get boost. ❤️

Died like... 30 times maybe. Getting closer each time but I keep blowing it. You make it look easy. The last time I tried this I went through every weapon I had so I've given up for now. God the combat in this game is a bitch.

And this is where the weapon durability in this game is a big pain in the ass. The enemy isn't hard at all, but when I go through all my weapons and it's still between 1/4 - 1/2 health, there is nothing I can even do
