Lenovo’s foldable OLED PC prototype last year now has a name, a price, and a vague shipping date. The ThinkPad X1 Fold will be available mid-2020 for $2,499 — but how’s it shaping up?

I am really curious to see if this trend continues or eventually peters out. Personally, I would love to see tons of companies iterating on these designs and coming up with something really usable and practical, although only time will tell.

Not making it a hard 180° fold makes me a lot more confident in this solution than the other ones shown so far. And the keyboard suddenly makes a lot more sense.

I am curious about where it was designed. Interesting concept, but the screen is too small, and definitely without a hinge, durability problems. I will wait.

If only the computer recognizes it when the keyboard is put on top of the bottom display like with Surface Neo. You can see in the video that the display is still full screen and the keyboard is covering the bottom half.

Lovely video simple to the point and that is a pricey device but could be very useful
