I’m mostly shocked that three real life friends all happened to be insanely talented at Mario Kart speed running. This is by far one of the craziest and funniest "cheating" stories I've ever heard. It's an amazing twist that got willingly revealed in a humorous way. It's so simple, yet so unexpected that it had been more than one person all along.

I'm not even a speedrunner and the first thing that came to mind when talking about the difference between PAL and NTSC was "Split the leaderboards". If I could figure out a solution in a fraction of a second, I don't know how these experts couldn't handle it properly.
