One thing's for certain, if Chester is innocent I feel awful for him. No innocent person should have to spend 60 years in jail.

The sad thing is he's been behind bars for so long that it won't matter if we definitively prove he had NOTHING to do with this- the families will always, always assume he did it. I think this is a case of the police locking onto a suspect and making the evidence fit the suspect.

My best guess is Sandra noticed Stanley looked bummed or something and went up to him and she misremembered him calling her over. Not that he called her over and just said "I just testified against my bestie kbai". Something like that. I doubt that was the entire conversation, just the pertinent piece.

The murdered woman whose husband was an attorney who got his secretary pregnant - that got my attention. If he wanted to get rid of his wife, wouldn't it make sense to have all 3 killed to deflect attention from HER murder? And having worked in the area he may have had ties to some unsavory characters that might do such a deed, as well as law enforcement.

I smell genetic genealogy!! I wanna know who ACTUALLY murdered those poor women!

If it was an act of revenge, then the ladies’ skirts being pulled up after they were deceased is not indicative of a sexual act being perpetrated on them, it’s evidence the perpetrators wanted to humiliate their victims, even after death.

This is such a weird case- the changes in Chester’s stories but on the flip side the pressure and anxiety from harassment from police and feeling so defeated… the confession vs the mishandling of information during the trial and not providing some of the evidence that would show he’s not guilty… even the hairdresser confirming a new alibi- he could have been someone who stayed quiet initially letting the cops do their investigation/following from afar and just wanted someone to be put away and then decided to speak up later on when he learned about all the discrepancies… vs maybe he actually remembered the event totally wrong and remembered hearing Chester say he saw the plane and then he saw it/similar plane on his own another time and his memory got worse over the years. This case is so interesting but also makes my brain want to explode. Thank you for the amazing coverage. I love these deep dives/long videos. <3

Chester may not have been such a good guy, but I personally don't think he committed this triple murder ... And his whole life was blown up by those who harassed and manipulated him for that improbable confession 😢

I’m so happy for you and so proud of you, congratulations on your show danelle!! I’ve been watching your content since you had less than 5k, many years of amazing coverage. You got me into and obsessed with the true crime community. Thank you for everything you do 💕💕

I’ve heard stories about when Chester was released. He didn’t even know what a car seatbelt was. He’s got dementia and is in the county nursing home. Nearly everyone I know locally is rooting for his name to be cleared. Not one person I know thinks he did it all by himself.

I like the multi-episode deep dive. The work you've put in is admirable.
As for Chester, I may have missed this but, is he, for lack of a better term, simple-minded?
Is it possible that he was out in the area and saw or was seen by the murders, who then made him watch or somehow convinced him that he was guilty because he was there when it happened?
If officer dummy was involved, he'd have ample opportunity to continue to pressure Chester to be quiet.

Wow, thanks for this incredible series! What a mind bending story, with so many twists and such great attention to detail! I still have no idea what to think about who did or didn't commit that horrible crime, but I'm pretty sure that more than one person had to have been involved, and that the idea of an innocent men spending his entire life behind bars is absolutely sickening. No matter what the truth might be in this case, you did a wonderful job, as always, telling the whole story with an eye to justice and compassion. I'm definitely going to be looking deeper into this one!

You explained this case way better than the documentary. I still don't know what to believe but I feel like if other people were involved and Chester was indeed involved why wouldn't he say anything about the other perpetrators.

Searched your channel to see if this was posted yet and I was happily surprised!! 🎉

Thank you for mentioning the lawyer part. I genuinely thought that’s why you chose this case😂 I learned about it from tiktok and when I looked it up, I can’t tell you how sick to my stomach I became knowing that there was a very likely chance he didn’t do it and sat in prison for his entire life. It just really puts a “life sentence” into perspective. Thank you for covering this❤️
