Am I the only one who thinks this trade was a great move by the giants...?

A lot of people who never played a down of football are considered experts, it's really sad

Well the guy is a little abrasive, but he makes a lot of good points. I don't think they should have traded OBJ. Thr Giants SHOULD have drafted a QB last year. The Giants are in worse shape now than they were two weeks ago.

Adam Schein - With all dew respect, YOU'RE the one who's clueless and here is your proof:

OBJ may be a generational talent, But the real measure of a wide out is how he inspires the team around him - Not by how talented he is. Since Odell was drafted by the Giants - They only had one playoff season and that was only because the defense had a good year. They were not even good on offense. In Fact even during that playoff game Odell was horrible.

Is he really an inspiration or a distraction ??? The answer to that is easily a no brainer.

Last season alone when Odell Beckham was out for a few weeks - The Giants actually won a few games without him which proves within itself they can win without OBJ.

Now that he's gone - So is the problem.

The Giants are already in better shape at the O-line thanks to the Olivier Vernon - Kevin Zeitler trade. One of the NFL's best right guard puts the G-men one good right tackle away from having a complete offensive line, And that will be worth more in the long run than a generational talent wide out that causes trouble. Just ask any team who had to put up with Terrell Owens.

As for Landon Collins - That's not exactly a big loss either. He might be able to make a few plays on the ball every once in a while, But...

A) He's not good at covering receivers & tight ends

B) He just doesn't cover alot of territory.

These are things real elite safeties get paid big money for.

The Giants even fortified their safety unit by bringing in Antoine Bethea and Jabrill Peppers on the browns trade deals and both of them cover wide outs and tight ends better than Collins ever could which actually proves that the Giants actually have a massive upgrade at both sides of the safety positions.

Upgrading their O-line and Safety unit along with a ton of picks in the draft including 2 first rounders is not exactly the worst position for a team like the Giants to be in.

Schein doesn't know sports, he just knows how to rhyme things with his last name. And how to wave his left hand like a gossipy woman.
