It's been over 20 years since this occurred and still I can't get over how Pavel Nedved won 2003 Ballon dor over Thierry? Not overlooking how good was Nedved that year in Serie A with Juventus, but how damn awesome Arsenal and the Premier league was that year it's laughable, IMO. Best team and players' hands down! And especially Henry. What a player. And my favorite to boot. Still can't over it.

I dont want to judging or something, but Nedved's role was so Central at Juve and his national team, just like Luca Modric do at Madrid and Croatia, thats why everyone voting for Pavel Nedved..
In Thierry case, he was a king at Arsenal but at France he standing behind the shadow of Zinedine Zidane..

I thought them all play for money, haven't heard about anyone who changed the club in order to win ballon d'Or.
