Take it back where you got it from. I was having issues with the ENTUNE system and some throttle response issues.

What is going on with Toyota?? Increasing purchase prices, but not increasing quality parts and service. I'm afraid if Toyota doesn't get their act right, people are going to think differently about their brand. I myself have a 2012 Camry and I have some issues as well. I don't think a Toyota is next on my list for my next car.

I'm not saying they're terrible cars, but I don't think Toyota quality and reliability are all they're cracked up to be. I had a late 80s Camry back in the 90s and it was such a turd with only 118k miles. Fuel pump failed. Left me stranded at a busy intersection. Interior was a rattle trap. Excessive oil leaks and burned oil, weak AC, lousy thin paint quality. Sunroof broke. Upholstery wore through. It was just a bad car all around and by far one of the worst I've ever owned out of a half dozen to this point. My dad bought a new Tacoma in '99 and had a throttle problem almost immediately and the OEM bug deflector caused the hood to lift and rattle at highway speeds. I just don't trust Toyota and I certainly don't think their higher prices are justifiable. These days I'd feel better about buying a Hyundai/Kia. At least they have a long warranty should things go wrong up to 100k miles. Pay more for a Toyota, get a short warranty, and when something goes wrong you are screwed.
