About the Speaker:
Prasenjit Biswas is currently an Associate Professor of Philosophy at North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong. He specializes in Phenomenology and Continental Philosophy with a broad sweep on Social Theory, Ethnophilosophy and Consciousness Studies. Last book was Between Philosophy and Anthropology: Aporias of Thought, Language and Consciousness, Notion Press, 2017. He has been a visiting fellow at JNU, TISS, Cambridge University, Rabindra Bharati University and presented papers at various universities in the world. This Lecture arises from his current work on Aporias of Social Theory.
