Silicon Valley's Annual Checkup: The 2024 Index - Community & Sustainability Briefing
Показать описание
DETAILS:
Joint Venture CEO Russell Hancock presented a comprehensive briefing on the 2024 Silicon Valley Index at the annual State of the Valley conference March 1. The briefing was broken out into two parts: People & Economy and Community & Sustainability. Rather than employ panelists, Hancock enlisted regional luminaries to contribute to dialogue in their area of expertise. Two subject matter experts joined Hancock onstage for the Community & Sustainability Briefing: Leslie Bacho, CEO of Second Harvest of Silicon Valley and Jasneet Sharma, Director of the Santa Clara County Office of Sustainability.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE:
The 2024 State of the Valley Conference took place on Friday March 1 as a hybrid event at San José State University while simultaneously being broadcast via Brandlive.
State of the Valley is an old-fashioned 'town hall' meeting, a tradition at least as old as our nation's founding, when concerned citizens met on the village green to mobilize for the challenges ahead. In that same spirit, Joint Venture's town meeting convenes the entire region–concerned citizens and stakeholders, thought leaders and opinion makers, journalists, students and academics, our elected representatives and their professional staff, business leaders, labor and workforce leaders, venture capitalists and others–for dialogue and discussion about the Valley's challenges and opportunities.
OUR SPONSORS:
The 2024 State of the Valley conference was made possible by generous support from Meta as lead sponsor and El Camino Health as principal sponsor, with additional support from Accenture, Amazon, Bank of America, Stanford Children’s Health, PG&E, and many other sponsors.
