How to polish an Airstream

Great video! I don't use all the stuff you use but I relate. I have a 1966 AIRS 26/OVER TWIN. That I've started polishing

I can agree with not sanding it. On a commercial trailer like my semi its different, the aluminum is much thicker, and due to the abuse they go through pick up a lot more impurities. Those Airstreams are much thinner sheeting, too much sanding could compromise the structural integrity and create weak spots. Expert polishers point out the same thing about wheels and fuel tanks, remove too much material and you could compromise it. If ya want perfection buy new, and maintain it for as long as you own it. I'm in a brand new Freightliner currently, i touch up the aluminum about every 4 weeks with a little polishing compound like Mothers, either with my drill attachment or by hand. A little wax or quality nano ceramic sealant will just extend the shine and prevent it from oxidizing as fast.

bro get yourself a 6000 rpm grinder, 10" airway cuting wheel and menzerna hevy cut clay geen bar. wprk from bottom to the top and ypu will cut your time i half plust will come out even better!

I am being honest you don't put swirl marks or scratches into a unit when you polish it if you use correct products and tools . NOT LIKE THIS
