Yes, like the others I need a fan over my bed, with hot weather it is impossible to rest, and too expensive to turn on the a.c. Frequenctly, would love yo have the chandelier instead ❤

Oh no, not the ceiling fan! Summer nights in Queensland would be impossible without a fan, unless you want to run the airconditioner every night. At least mine is closer to my feet than my head.

We would die without a ceiling fan during the hot, humid summers, even with the AC on because our bedroom gets the least amount of ventilation from the vents. The other bedrooms in the house are fine. Plus, ceilings aren’t high enough for a chandelier. We have to pick function over style.

I live in Texas We can have all four seasons within one day. LOL I have seen December be 90° outside. LOL
It doesn't matter if you have tall ceilings or 8 ft ceilings a ceiling fan is a must because heat rises to the ceiling and then the whole room is hot. Ceiling fans are also good for energy saving... Just better than feng shui or chi.
In the South Texas area I sleep much better with a ceiling fan and that's going to be good for my health. Not having a ceiling fan means I don't sleep well I toss and turn and my energy bill goes up which also will stress me out. So I think saving money less stress and being nice and cool while I sleep is much better than chi... LOL 😂

I have visited friends at who have no ceiling fan in the guest room and no floor fan matter of fact no mobile fans at all. 🙃🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️
Can't sleep because I get hot then I can't sleep because it's too quiet then I have to use my cell phone to find some type of noise that sounds like a fan but it really doesn't help. LOL
By three nights later I'm so tired but I have to pretend that I'm fine. Yeah the feng shui thing does not really work. LOL 😂

Obviously a lot of people aren't getting the concept of "energy". Not spiritual energy, ghost energy... energy as in physics. Light, heat, thoughts are energy. If someone is mad at you, you feel it, their energy. From as long as I can remember, I instinctively avoided sharp corners and edges. Later realized that edges/ corners direct energy. As for ceiling fans.. hate them. I use box fans in front of my windows. I DO have a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Not my choice. Though, I've NEVER turned it on, even though it is above my feet. Who can sleep with that movement of energy above your body?

I don't know and understand this obsession with no ceiling fan in the bedroom I mean you can get low profile ceiling fan that is really pretty if you want to make it a decorative thing. However a room without a ceiling fan and hot Texas weather doesn't mix at all. Who cares about feng shui if you're dying of heat because you can't sleep because of the heat. Not all of us have air conditioning... LOL 😂

Seriously an energy shooting at you because you have a ceiling fan really... I'm not superstitious at all. And you know what's more shooting energy is not being able to sleep because you're hot and sweaty in the Texas heat. 🙃🤦🏼‍♀️

For those who do not know Feng shui means wind and water.
Ceiling fans provide wind and air for comfort... LOL she's literally saying do not have air in your room to stay comfortable and peaceful.
So I guess back in the day when air conditioners that were called water coolers were perfect because they were providing air and a cooling effect from water. Who knew that a old-fashioned water cooler would be so feng shui. LOL
My suggestion is keep your ceiling fan because it provides the wind that you need to have comfort while you sleep in your bed. And put some type of water element in the room if you want That would be a picture or an actual water element... That way you have the wind and water providing your feng shui. So I ceiling fan is very feng shui... lol 😂

These just aren't comfortable imo. I like box fans vs ceiling fans.
