This song belongs to possibly the saddest scene in all of Xenoblade alongside Xenoblade 3 Chapter 5. Two main characters who have changed so many people's lives in and out of universe willingly sacrificing themselves so that their world can keep moving forwards... What an AMAZING sendoff for both characters!

I can't shake the feeling this was composed for the DLC and ended up being repurposed for some main game scenes as well. I mean, it works so much better in the ending to FR than any of the other uses it has in base 3. Seeing it being placed at the end of the base game's OST reinforces that conjecture.
