Nice car. Drove the same 25years ago. Acceleration was ok for a front wheel drive. Aged very well!

Very nice car! I had exactly the same (even the same gta-body parts and wheels) about 10 years ago and wish I still had it. Mine was tuned to about 220 bhp and had the Q2-differential.
But… and that's where my problem with all these youtube 0-100 tests start. Almost all of them are a bit useless. I don't know why, but all of them seem to want to prove they are faster then the official numbers instead of being realistic. What’s the point?
To start with, 100km/h on the odometer is not 100km/h in reality. Then it seems like most of the testing on YouTube is done slightly downhill (I'm not saying that's the case here 'cause I don't know). That makes no sense. That doesn't help anyone. I have done many 0-100 sprints with my tuned 2.5 V6 (100 real km/h, not on the odometer, because that is how it should be), from relatively calm to very aggressive, on different surfaces. My car was in very good condition, but I never got under 7.4 seconds (at 220bhp). Usually closer to 8 seconds. I still have official measurements here from a car magazine from 1997. They couldn't complete the test in less than 8.3 seconds (at 190bhp). That's the reality. This is useful to you as a potential buyer.
Ok, I may have sounded a little frustrated, but that's because I've seen way too many crappy 0-100 tests on Youtube from people who wanted to prove themselves instead of providing valuable information. Sorry about that. Nevertheless, I thought it was a nice video.
