WIR STEHEN AM ABGRUND, DOCH WIR GEHEN WEITER...

I do NOT own the music, nor the lyrics accompanying it, in this video. They are both direct property of Eisbrecher and their respective owners.

It's interesting to me that this style of music seems to work well in German, without the harshness of posuers from other countries. The messages are valuable and pertinent to our times. Not just more pap. Good work guys! Do it!

I didn't even know that was possible.

In this song, "macht" just means "make."

@Uptangle

Truthfully, I kinda burned myself out on Prototyp and Augen Unter Null. That's not to say they aren't fantastic songs, but because of how repetitive they are I get bored having to translate or copy/paste and then re-time a portion of video multiple times over. Abgrund took me nearly a week to make just because of how repetitive it was! D:

Expect Atmen or some other song to be coming next.

@DerxWiedergaenger Ahh, that's understandable. Translating is fun, put the same slides in the same sequence over and over again isn't quite as much fun.

@Stevethesearcher I'm not German, but I've been taking German classes for the past 5 years and I tried my hand at making translation videos, but I got dispirited after Youtube decided that all my good ones should only be able to be seen in Aruba and Christmas Island. They even blocked them in Antarctica T_T

@Stevethesearcher I actually like this song, the guitar part is catchy. But I agree, a translation video of Prototyp or Augen Unter Null would be great! I'd make one myself but I'm much too lazy nowadays.

@Uptangle Are you German? I wish I was born a German because its my favourite country in the world. I have lived and worked there in the past but due to the nature of the work I was able to speak English and my German colleagues spoke English with me. That was a big mistake on my part but I was lazy with foreign languages then. Now I want to learn German.Anyway my favourite song from the new album is "Atem" What a brilliant song. Its the saddest song that Eisbrecher have ever sung.

@Uptangle Well its great that you have learnt German. Thats my mission for this year.
Its funny but I feel like a stranger here in my own country which is a rain sodden hellhole. Ever since I was a young child I was fascinated by Germany. I think I just liked the organisation and efficiency of the Germans. I feel sad whats happening there at the moment where they are encouraged by their present Puppet leaders to be ashamed to be German and told to be good "Europeans"

Hell Yeah! Eisbrecher, and a new song from "Die Hölle muss warten" ... Why did you put a S in the name?

Alex Justus Machen in to make or do. Macht is power, Kraft is strength I have been teaching german myself and I love it, it is a challenge. A good dictionary can help you, so I wish you good luck.

Doesn't "macht" translate into power? Sorry if I'm incorrect. I've been teaching myself German for a year and a half, so I'm not fluent in it.
