Hey Everyone Chanyote66 here!

This is the Third video of a detailed un-packaging to flying collection of videos for the MyFlyDream Auto Pilot. The MFD AP is one of the newest Auto Pilot systems that uses advanced sensors, data links, and RC input to control a model aircraft. It also features a full on screen display (OSD) with artificial horizon (AHI) using its internal inertial measurement unit (IMU) which includes multiple gyroscopes and accelerometers to properly tell the aircraft how to safely operate.

Part 1 - Unboxing without the box
I will be covering everything included from wires to GPS and giving a quick overview of the product.

Part 2 - Connecting
This video will explain where everything plugs in and some tips on making sure they are in the correct place.

Part 3 - Installation (2 part video) (This video is part 1)
This shows the installation and required soldering to use this in a Skywalker 2014 Aircraft. Part 1 is the soldering of the current sensor and mounting everything to an accessory tray, the second part is the installation and connection to the aircraft.

Part 4 - Configuration
This will show the OSD and parameters that can be sued to configure the OSD. I will also cover checking the proper throws of control surfaces.

Part 5 - Flight!
This will be covering the first flight and some features available with the MFD AP.

Some additional information from the vendor:

This Autopilot is comparable to a few other OSD systems that each have their own options and pros/cons. Some comparable systems are: DragonOSD, Dragon OSD v2, RVOSD, RVOSD G6, Cyclops Tornado OSD, skylark dianmu, fy41ap, Eagle tree Vector, OSD Pro, FY-30A (with Hornet OSD or AP 117), FY-41AP, FY-DOS (with hornet or AP-117)

Hi mate, very good knowledge you share there in your videos!!!
I have a question btw, do you still use the regulator or you use bec, what do you suggest after 7 months of flying?

did you jump the c-sensor for ur fpv with that regulator or if the sensor fail all power fail?

Nice clean install. Which 3s-6s to 12v regulator did you use? thanks

Does the current sensor not fail on the ground lead, it says in the manual that it’s adviced to put the ground leads as close to each other as possible. The manual says that a max of 20A is possible with only the metal strip. Or does the solder enhancing prevent a failure?

Thanks for you video. It is very useful.
One question: Must one use a UBEC/regulator to power the MFD-AP from a lipo? As the AP uses 7-20v, could I connect it directly to the ESC-end of the current sensor, without a regulator? (while using a 4s lipo)

Hi, it looks like it touched @ 2:27 both sides when you did the soldering, no?
