Todd really would rather force Roggvir to die than let you rescue him by either intervening or laying siege to Solitude before entering.

It's not even that I want to save him, I'm a staunch Empire supporter, even in my Assassin runs, but I would like the OPTION to save him.

Oh, that detail. I tend to side with the Empire (If I see one comment about politics from a decade old video game, I'm gonna scream) Maybe I should make a Stormcloak character. I love the new Stormcloak armor they added. (Still prefer the Empire. My personal opinion. Don't wanna hear any "Skyrim for the Nords" stuff.)
