Transformers: Dark of the Moon is a 2011 American science fiction action film directed by Michael Bay and based on the Transformers toy line created by Hasbro. theory: During the scene where Bumblebee was about to get executed, we see Barricade simply just looking away. This is due to the fact that Bumblebee spared his life in the first film, which shows the respect that Barricade has for Bumblebee, not executing him and letting Soundwave do it.

What I love about Bayverse's Transformers is that they never hesitate to kill Fan favorite characters even if they're part of the main cast, HECK even Optimus has died once for like half a movie.

It really tenses up every single movie, even the latter ones that got so much hate.
