I was in HS when the OJ thing happened and whenever my friend and I saw a white bronco, we’d say “there’s OJ”. That dominated the news for so long. They even televised the part where they announced him “not guilty” in school. Half the class cheered. I was just happy it was over.

I worked at the courthouse where the “Rodney King “ trial was held. None of us who worked there, at the time thought it was a fair trial. The jury was upset because they had to be sequestered for another weekend in a hotel. So they immediately came up with the not guilty….. very sad situation all around.
