oziTarget competition flight briefing

Part 1 - Using oziTarget to set up a four task flight from the Australian National Championship. This is many months after the actual event and will give an insight into how fast you can plan a flight from the task sheet using oziTarget

It will give you a look at how I use the tools and think about flight planning. At the time this was recorded I did not have the track file from the flight so this is all the guess work that would normally happen in a briefing.

I have a question about conversions. When you enter 6992/8703 in ozitarget, the UTM is actually 469920/6487030. Why is that? How does it work?
