Frsky xlite pro D16 support and PMU update!

Frsky just added a new firmware update on their website for The X Lite Pro to include a power management unit update to allow external modules to get proper power and to support D16 mode natively using the old accst protocol unfortunately for me D16 still does not work!

I got a Xlite pro today. And I updated the firmware which supports d16 successfully by following your steps. I can bind ac900 receiver and r-xsr receiver in d16, and both work ok.

I was really hoping to get one of these and put off getting the original X lite in the hope that something like this one came out. But without D8 there's no way I would ever go to any of the latest generation of TXs since I have too many whoop boards that really need D8 to work reliably. Maybe if they fixed the random failsafe from the built-in SPI receivers, I might be interested as long a D16 works as it should, but I'm not holding my breath on that ever happening.

I was able to get D-16 receivers to work. I did a bind with the USB flight sim dongle and an XM+. Took a couple tries to get the XM+ bound, but that happened with my QX7 as well.

Too bad that D16 doesn't work. I was considering getting one if it would work with all of my ACCST receivers. Is there still no way to bind with D8? I have a number of those too.

I got my x8r to bind to my x lite pro by updating the firmware on the x8r to the latest EU version. Suggest you try that

I just saw a video on RC Groups that showed the Crossfire module working with the XLite Pro... YouTuber audio was in Spanish so I didn't understand any of it.. Any update from you actually getting it to work?

Thanks for your last video. After seeing you last video i purchased these and installed Open Tx Nightly Build N20. I have updated my xLite Pro with the latest update of power management and to Open tx Nightly build. I have one problem with my MPM external module. When I turn on the radio . The red and green light turn on my MPM and some times its stay green. When it shows the red and green then i switch between the models for the change of light. when switching between the model its comes again green. Whats the reason behind for red and green light. I have already update the power management unit

Did you update the R-XSR? It has an update for binding problems.

Jumper fail... yeah I chose the T16 for a new radio... got it all set up... didn't like the feel of the wheel button from the start... was ready to fly and noticed the wheel button was down inside the radio... it is plastic with a plastic hex pin 1.5mm... broke off and I never got to fly. Bought it for the big screen... so much info on the larger screen layouts the text is still small and hard to read. 50 year old injun eyes here...
