Good morning Dr.Tucker,
Thanks for the video. I am a 62 year old ( Active, FIT ) with a Family HX of Cardiac problems and I have a HX of high Cholesterol . My Calcium Score was -" Total Coronary artery calcification AGaston 130 score is 9 Agatston Units. This corresponds to the 50-75th percentile for patients this age". LAD score 9.My Cardiologist put me on Rosuvastatin 40 mg ( from 5 mg) and Zetia 10 mg daily. It lowered my Cholesterol to 144 but it elevated my Liver enzymes. I stopped the Zetia and lowered the Rosuvastatin to 10 mg daily. Labs repeated- Cholesterol now 277, LDL is 166, HDL 96, Triglycerides 48. I do not want to take higher doses of Rosuvastatin, I do not want Zetia or injections. I continue to exercise . Am I killing myself?
Thanks you!
