I very rarely comment on YouTube reaction videos but as you’re a very intelligent man! it’s interesting to see your reactions haha most of oasis’s songs lyrics are non sensical but their songs are also fantastic at the same time. In Britain they are a national treasure and the feeling they must have got from this live performance (of a country that doesn’t even speak English but recites every lyric) must have been an incredible feeling. I love your reactions and would love to hear you react to more British songs. (Especially live versions) for example a band I have recently listened to live, Stereophonics, what an incredible voice the lead singer has haha or the verve live.

This live take is a stripped-down version of the Oasis hit that has quite a few instruments layered on the studio version... Released in 1995, "Don't look back in anger" became 1 of Oasis's biggest hits... It was also one of the first Oasis songs that guitarist /songwriter Noel Gallagher sang lead on, instead of his brother Liam Gallagher (lead vocals).
Oasis' 2nd album "(What's the story) Morning Glory" became their biggest record, making the band as popular as The Beatles in the UK... charting top 10 in the US as well.

This was in Argentina, there are a lot of shows with this type of Crowd involvement, both local bands and international ones. You can check Ciro y los Persas "Antes y Después", Soda Stereo "De Musica Ligera" or ColdPlay's cover of it. ACDC recorded their live DVD in River too.

There is no "Sally" Liam just came up with that line when they were trying to add the lyrics to the song and it stuck. Like much of Oasis music it's made for stadiums and anthemesque but there is very little meaning behind any of it. The words just fit in. Never look too deep into Oasis music. It's ankle deep.
