Welcome back to another trip report and my first on the rails! Earlier this year while visiting France my friend and I needed to get from Paris to Monaco and decided to make an adventure out of it. Traveling by train allowed us to see the country in a unique way while still remaining efficient and getting us to our destination in at timely manner.

The TGV Duplex was fairly bare bones but still very comfortable and spacious as the video mentions. I was a bit surprised to find out that complementary meals were not included with a first class ticket. That said, the dining car options were plentiful and did the trick. The other observation that didn't make it into the video, was the lack of suitcase storage. For a train that gets deployed on medium to longer distance trips within France and her surrounding neighbors I would expect more space for luggage storage. We ended up having to move our suitcases around several times to help accommodate passengers that were hopping on or off at the intermediate stops.

All of that aside, it really is fun to travel by train in Europe. The speed, efficiency, and reach are really fun to experience, plus the weather really worked out to make this a great day of travel! Thanks for coming along with me on another adventure and ENJOY!
