Totally disagree. The Phoenix Force does not increase in power when it possesses a host, it grants powers. It doesn't even need hosts, the only reason it searches for them is to have emotions, to understand etc.

The Phoenix is life and death and everything in it. It is the creation force and the resurrection force as well as the nexus of all psionic energies.

The hosts gets more power each time they use the forces powers. And the closer bond they have to the force the more they tap to its limitless powers.

And that's another thing u r wrong, it doesn't possess near limitless powers. It is limitless. The force is Crearion/Life itself.
