Panasonic S5 vs G9: Full Frame Worth It For Video?

Today we battle the Panasonic S5 against the G9. Has Panasonic killed off their own micro four thirds lineup? Is the stabilization just as good? Autofocus better? Colours? Both have 10 bit now, and the S5 isn't much heavier.

At the end, it made sense why the S5 was slow at acquiring focus. Because it was in V Log, there was less contrast for the camera to work with. Hence why it was slower.

You are correct, the G9 with V-Log can't autofocus because of the reduced contrast. The colours are great, however. The price difference between the two cameras is significant and I just prefer the smaller kit. I will suffer with manual focus.

As a G9 user, I'd love to see a comparison of it against everything in it's price range.
It falls into a good price bracket that quite a lot of people can afford, especially used. I bought mine in the UK, about 9 month's ago for around 1100 Canadian dollars (£650). Is there anything in that price range that beats it as a hybrid camera?
