Lap Book: The Ten Commandments

This religious education/faith formation book lists and interprets God's 10 Commandments. This second-grade student (8 years old) write each commandment on a Hamburger Fold book. On the outside, he copied a commandment. On the inside, he visually and verbally interpreted it. After that, all Hamburger Folds were guled to the inside of a "stone tablet" made from a manilla file folder, refolded into a modified Shutter Fold. Materials needed to make this book are: one manilla folder (it can e used because you paint it), paper for pages, pencils, and art supplies for the pictures. Always remember to label your student's book with his name, date made, and grade!
