Boucher à St Ambroise - power failure tunes

On April 4, 2018, our new home suffered a power failure when the concrete power pole across the street was downed in a wind storm. To pass the time, we lit some candles and burned some precious cell phone battery to record one of my favourite tunes.

I got the tune from an album called "B & B", a brilliant collaboration between André Brunet and Éric Beaudry.

The liner notes for the tune are:
"Ces deux gigues ont été composées par André lorsqu’il demeurait dans le 5e rang à Saint-Ambroise-de-Kildare. La maison fut construite en 1918 par M. Joseph Boucher que eut une famille nombreuse comptant quelques violoneux."

My hamfisted translation:
"These two jigs were composed by André while living on 5th Concession in Saint-Ambroise-de-Kildare. The house was built in 1918 by Mr. Joseph Boucher who had a large family counting among their number several fiddlers."
