20 years ago I was in an undergrad Media Studies class and, during a group presentation I casually referenced Fox News and said "which we all know is the media arm of the Republican Party." The professor challenged me on that, to which I replied with stunned silence, and it was pretty clear, even in 2004, what Fox was up to. Every so often I think of sending him an email and asking "who's the asshole now, dog?"

As a Canadian, every time that Jordan Petterson comes up I feel the need to apologize. I recently watched a biography on him and was genuinely upset to discover that we went to the same college (not at the same time). He is awful and just refuses to go away.

My Dad was addicted to Rush Limbaugh. My Dad thought he was a political journalist! He wouldn't believe me when I told him Limbaugh was a shock jock and admittedin an interview that he would never take a job in politics because he wouldn't make the money he makes being a radio host. Yes. Limbaugh wrote books but he was NOT a journalist.

There is not enough discussion about conservative radio and their control of radio stations across our country. Most rural areas ONLY get conservative radio. So dangerous!

If you hadn't mentioned Rush Limbaugh I wouldn't have remembered he existed. He was replaced the day after his funeral by a slew of vitriol spewers and I don't think most people have given him a second thought despite him being one of the first modern right wing radio pundits.
