Assalamu alaikum, I loved this. thank you. its really true we cry out to Allah when we are desperate, fearful, and have no other place to turn. Like a selfish ungrateful child we sometimes take advantage of the gifts and blessings we are given. May Allah have mercy and forgive us for being ungrateful, let us be grateful that Allah gave us Islam so we have hope, love, and guidance. let us not be like the ungrateful and the spiritually blind.

I always loved the saying "There are no athiests in a sinking ship", now we can use the same line for a "falling plane"

This reminds me of the plane that was landed on the Hudson River. When you listen to the black box you'll notice that everyone is calling out to "God"Almighty, but no sooner the plane is safely on the water the people are giving thanks to Jesus(peace and blessings be upon him) and even to the pilot without even mentioning God.
