Most videogame puzzles are WAY too easy nowadays as demonstrated in this Zelda comic dub....but it could also be considered a God of War Ragnarök comic dub along with Horizon Zero Dawn?

Reminder that game freak really expected players to learn braille in ruby and sapphire just to catch 3 regi boys

Meanwhile, in every Souls-like game:
"Our puzzle for you begins now player."
"I don't see a puzzle anywhere."
"Exactly. Good luck figuring out where to go."

Ragnarok handholds you through the puzzles, meanwhile Sonic Frontiers is like “The pinball is mandatory. Screw you.”

Oh, but of COURSE, when it's an actually HARD puzzle, they leave you on your own. So much for helpfulness, right?

Everybody remembers they’re first time trying to beat the Water Temple.

I like how the water temple map looks more like a conspiracy board than a actual map

As one of the few OGs of the genre, Link had it the hardest.

Idk how. But the water temple always made sense to me.

This isn't a comic, it's a literal mood! 😂

This is exactly how I felt when playing Horizon Forbidden West.

Every time there was a puzzle, Aloy would say something that’s basically the answer to said puzzle. I don’t mind it too much when games give you hints for their puzzles, but her dialogue was the main reason I barely ever bothered to think about the game’s puzzles

*the feeling when you accidentally equipped and broke a fire weapon in Zelda right before coming upon a new area that needed exactly that….*

Remember doing a Zelda rock puzzle knowing only how to push the rock, and not knowing I could pull it. 8 yr old me had to make graphs after like 3 weeks of repeating the same puzzle in the 4 hours I was limited to play. Only after accidentally pulling the rock, that I anime style fell over in shock. To be fair, the rock was bigger then young Link, so pulling it I thought was out of question.

I didn’t have that bad of a time with the Water Temple, it’s a matter remembering where to go.

Totally not my excuse as to why I couldn't beat some Zelda games as a child...

As a reminder, the maker of God of War had trouble figuring out how to proceed a typical hallway of Metroid Dread.

I never personally understood how people got confused by the Water Temple. It always seemed easy enough to me, though that might just be because I tend to meticulously explore places to find everything

I agree, some of these newer game puzzles is like watching Dora the Explorer … I mean I guess I get it since most games are more focused on action nowadays but still

The nice things about older games getting re-release is I don't have to be all like back in my day games where hard. Most kids get to play them & suffer what I did.

And I thought Navi thinks that we are so dumb that she straight up explains to us how to open a door, at least Fi gave us more useful hints in Skyward Sword

*I rewinded the video & paused at **0:34**. Then I looked at Sonic, Dr. Eggman, Sage, Joker, Bayonetta, Pyra, Mythra, Rex, Cloud, Sephiroth, Sora, Kazuya, Wii Fit Trainer, Sada, Turo, Nemona, Geeta, Mela, Penny, Grusha, Iono, Katy, Dendra, Eri, Rika, Poppy, Larry & Miriam.*
Me: See that face? That's the face of almost every single Zelda player who had to SUFFER from The Water Temple puzzles. Lucky for us nowadays, there is a modern day solution to avoid such a hassle. All you need are 3 words: YouTube Playthrough Videos.
