The series of back and forth curves are not actually "hairpin" curves. None of them go into a "U-turn" pattern'. The sport-bike guys like to congregate there and some try to see how fast they can handle the curves. Recently one lost it & hit the wall, went over (river side) and tumbled a long way down to the river, he had to be rescued by boat. Another bike wiped out and the bike slid into a couple standing by the wall killing the woman. The last few years on warm weather weekends it is overcrowded with motorcycles and there is now an ever present police vehicle stationed there. Better to visit during the week and in cooler weather now.

That's the route I was telling you about that day we had coffee. Furthest I go down that road is to Callicoon though.

Cool video man I didn’t know that major car brands made commercials on that road.
