That's one of the things I love about Dr. Pretorius; unlike most of the other characters in the Universal horror universe, he's human, yet absolutely at home in a crypt amongst the dead. He's a delightful, gleefully morbid old bastard who should have survived BRIDE and had his own crime syndicate like Doctor Mabuse, or run his own asylum for the criminally insane, doing mad experiments in the catacombs beneath the asylum and scuttling back and forth down the tunnels between the asylum and the graveyards, collecting raw materials...
