I think this is the model that a lot of people have been waiting for. It's a shame that they'll be so limited this time around. I just hope that a production version that retains the Magnacut blade, DLC coatings, and spring-loaded pliers is offered in the future.

This definitely needs a production version for those who miss the special edition. Gonna try but my luck is little.

This is exactly the free I wanted. Knife, full size file, saw, scissors and the bit holders. I wish this would make it to a full production run because I know I'm not going to be able to nab one of these, and its exactly what I want.

Its nice to see Lee Leatherman in the company that his father built. God bless the Leatherman family and company employees.

As others are saying, this is the very close to the leatherman I've been waiting for. I don't need a magnicut blade or spring loaded pliers (though those are very cool, just too expensive for my budget), but the bit driver is the reason I choose the Wave over the Free, despite the one-handed operation.
The free series honestly looks way cooler until you start pulling out flathead after flathead...

This is what I have been waiting for. I posted most these ideas in a rendering on a year ago. Thanks for making my ultimate tool.

I don't see any boundaries being pushed here!

Is this a special version of the upcoming ARC? Excited for it regardless! Really happy to see spring action pliers in a Free-based tool! Everything else looks like the toolset of the leaked ARC render!

Wow, that white colorway and impact surface seem super cool! I hope we'll be able to see these in more available knives too in the future :)

Just 5 hours and 5 minutes since the Leatherman has sent me a newsletter about new edition. But The Leathermans site show me "Sold out!" The mad, mad, mad world!

It's just sad at this point. You cancel good tools like squirt, release no new regular tools, just some scalper's treasures from time to time. Tools no one is going to actually use because of limited runs and extreme prices.

This has all the tools I could want for edc and general hiking around. It NEEDS to go to production!

Looks amazing! I still use my Leatherman I bought back in 1993 when I did my tour of duty in Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia. Top quality!! 💯

Looks awesome. The spring loaded pliers is the best part. Main reason I like my OHT

I hate how this is a garage project and not a real tool. Only scalpers will get one. Thanks Leatherman.

Love the one-handed operation, external and accessible tools in the spring loaded pliers. Only suggestions I would make is change the tip of the blade to a Tanto style, tip of the file to a chisel and make the edges of the file rounded the black and tans a great look, black and OD green would be tight 2

Nice colorway and selection of tools. Might try to grab one if I remember on the day.
