Dire, if you put Empowered on The Ender, a wireless charger will charge it while it's in the Killer Joe. Empowered doesn't negate all damage so you do eventually have to repair it or lose it, but you can make it last a really really long time with Empowered IV, though that's a fair amount of levels.. Good thing the KJ collects experience.

Wyld went wild with Chisels and Bits! He must have used the pattern feature a lot to do all that work with the walls and pillars. As for the new Vanilla Bone Blocks being used I think he just farmed a Skeleton Spawner for a while. It doesn't take long to get that many Bones. Soon that Wither Skeleton farm will give you more than enough for that and some serious Wither fights. #forgecraft

Dire you derp :P Spawners don't need darkness to spawn mobs. I have my spawner room fully in the green when I press F4 and it still spawns them.

@Direwolf20 use a Attractor Obelisk (with a wither soul vial in it) in the center of the mobtrap that helps

As tedious as it would be, it would actually be interesting and functional to build a building for spawning withers out of bits since, as far as I know, they are blast proof. I just don't know how they would work for when the wither bumps into them though, whether they get destroyed outright or just get knocked away like water would a torch. Still an interesting thought though.

Wyld your base is awesome! I love the details. I wonder if chisel and bits will make it so patterns can be shared from something like a gethub....so if anyone wanted that water pump, they could snag it.
