not sure why all the negative reaction to this car?  These are gorgeous in person, gives people that would like a mini but need space a way to get in th brand PLUS AWD, turbo with manual?!  I currently drive a GTI, which i do like.  But yet no one is out there screaming about the price.  A GTI with leather and moonroof is $28k!  I promise if you could get 4motion on a GTI or golf (without having to get the R) I gaurantee people would buy in a heartbeat.  So why not buy this car if you are looking at the alternative, unless you have an absolute budget to hit.  You could have this over a Golf/GTI for a slight premium, but now you arent just ANOTHER golf on the road.  Yes the Golf and other hatchbacks are slighty larger in trunk, but not a difference maker.  Of course, all IMHO.

Been watching your reviews for about a year now; you are very knowledgeable and attain a very professional balance of humour and gravity. Greetings to you Canadian automobile reviewers from Northern California :D

At the beginning of the video they are in "Plaza Las Delicias" in the city of Ponce, later on in the mountains I suppose it is in the city of Adjuntas that lies in the "Cordillera Central" which is the main mountain range of Puerto Rico

i live in Puerto Rico and i can confirm that the roads here are WAY less than ideal. the upside is that you can find a twisty road basically everywhere

I'm puertorican and I didn't know about this event. That makes me sad, because I really like Mini's and I have liked to see this one in person. :(

I really like it. It'd fit my lifestyle perfectly. Small, efficient, stylish and fun, and the versatility of a hatch. Problem is, IT'S SO STINKIN' EXPENSIVE! Starts at $24k? Gimme a break! Where is that extra cost over other similar sized hatchbacks? It's not faster nor more fuel efficient. Seems like you're paying for the name, which I don't do. Rip-off!

All of AutoGuide's videos with this guy are great. The rest are completely forgettable at best.

I actually sort of hate it a bit, I'm ok with the new mini but these comedy versions upset me. Puerto Rico looks nice though.

i still dont understand why someone would buy this vehicle over the standard mini. I have to admit i hated the look of the Pacman at first but the looks are growing on me. I still wouden't buy one though.

The reviewer obviously doesn't like Minis of any flavor. I happen to love the HT Coopers and would love to try this car out. Too bad they switched the window switch to the door. It was cooler in the middle.

$27k for a Cooper S,
The BMW X1 starts at $30k base with a huge boost in power, more space, a better interior and I doubt the BMW badge is any less attractive than a MINI one.

gearbox problems only occurred in very early models of 1st gen hatch with midlands gearbox from 2002-2004. that being said, I still drive my 2003 Mini, never had a gearbox trouble (touch wood!)

I don't see how anyone would want a smaller version of a "larger Mini". Unless Mini wants to steal the 35 sales of the Range Rover Evoque

It's unique and fun to drive is all a good enough reason for people to buy one. There are many other small compact cars in the market, don't just pick on the mini.

Exactly why i want one. HAHA, Evoque is retarded expensive. Paceman looks just like it.
